Marian Cabanillas

Marian Cabanillas serves as the Vice President of Marketing and Network Management for UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Texas.

Marian has lived in Texas most of her life and earned both her BA in Psychology and her MBA in Healthcare Administration in Texas. In 2008, she also completed the UnitedHealthcare executive program at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business.

Her professional experience includes more than 20 years working within the health care industry in both the public and private sectors, with an emphasis on public health care. Marian’s areas of emphasis are sales, marketing, community outreach, member services, provider contracting and provider relations.

Marian works closely with customers, providers, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations and community leaders to address the issues of health care in the communities she serves.

Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group, Marian served as the Director of Community Relations for MHMRA of Harris County. She joined UnitedHealth Group in 2004. Marian is also an adjunct faculty member with the University of Phoenix where she teaches Healthcare Administration courses to MBA students.
