Ruthie Lee-Esene

Holds over 17 years of experience in the Human Resources field, specializing in overseeing entire HR operations departments, supporting C-Suite professionals, and internal HR communications. She directs and provides leadership in HR strategy, best practices, policy, and training. Her expertise is in fostering strong HR platforms, building solid employee relations, and facilitating mediation and negotiation processes. She is proficient in multi-state staffing and talent management, having developed and implemented recruiting strategies that drive major hiring and performance initiatives by rightsizing organization using a metric driven performance and behavior assessment.  

Ruthie is currently serving as the Director of Human Resources for Butler-Cohen. Bulter-Cohen is a full-service design + build firm servicing the educational, industrial, commercial and correctional markets in Texas and throughout the United States.  With over seventeen years in Human Resources, Ruthie has fostered a consistent practice of nurturing transformation human development by sowing seeds and sustaining people and process. 

Prior to joining Butler-Cohen, Ruthe was the CEO and owner of Sirvist HRC. Providing services to the following clients NRG, retail Green Mountain Energy and Reliant, Bain and Company, Region Four, Griffin Partners, Inc, CSTEM and Hunting Learning Academy. Sirvist HRC is a full services human resource consultancy that combines talent management expertise winning, metrics-driven performance management. Ruthie has been profiled in the following magazine and is most notable recognized for being the company of the year in Learning and Development by ManageIHR. The 30 Most Reputable Companies by The Silicon Review Magazine and recognized by HR Technology Outlook Magazine for Talent Management. 

For the past five years Ruthie has been an adjunct instructor at Rice University, Glasscock School of Continuing Studies teaching the Human Resources certification course and most recently develop curriculum and teaching Mitigating Unconscious Bias while Navigating Diversity and Inclusion. She is also an instructor at Prairie View A&M University School of Continuing Education teaching the SHRM Human Resource certification course. 

Ruthie currently serves as a Board of Director for Houston Botanic Garden and an advisor to CSTEM organization. 

Ruthie holds a B.A. from the University of Texas at Dallas and an M.S. in Human Resource Management from Houston Baptist University. She is a senior certified human resource professional by the Society of Human Resource.
