She values giving back and serving the community. Mandy has worked to establish internal and external opportunities for staff and their families to engage in community service activities. She also has facilitated a Houston market wide symposium and facility events to raise funds for the Suicide Prevention Lifeline, Open Door Mission, and Star of Hope. Mandy enjoys giving back to the community through Volunteer Houston, Houston Food Bank, NAMI, and her local church.

Mandy continues her focus on advocating for staff and patients to ensure quality behavioral health services are available to those in need. She currently serves as the chair of the behavioral health council for the Texas Hospital Association.
