These foundational experiences continue to ground her, fueling an unyielding drive to live fully, honor her past, and boldly shape a brighter future for all.

Dr. Colbert embarked on a career in the United States Army, where she served for over four years. Her military service instilled a disciplined approach to problem-solving, an unwavering commitment to team excellence, and the strategic foresight that would define her subsequent corporate career.

Beyond the boardroom, Dr. Colbert’s heart beats for community transformation. She is the visionary founder of Sipping PositiviTEA™, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to uplifting those impacted by breast and chest cancer through financial assistance and emotional support. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Management and HR and an MBA with a concentration in HR. Her commitment to lifelong learning culminated in a doctoral degree in Management and Organizational Leadership. An avid drummer, dancer, and exercise fanatic, Dr. Colbert infuses joyful movement into her daily rhythm, finding restoration and self-expression in these passions.
