Denise Navarro

With an academic and professional career in technology and management that spans over three decades, Denise Navarro has established herself as a respected business leader within the national federal government sector and within area communities.


While earning an associate in applied science (AAS) in computer data processing from College of the Mainland (COM) in Texas City, Texas, followed by a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in computer information systems and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), both from the University of Houston – Clear Lake (UHCL) in Houston, Texas, Denise dedicated herself to a career that began in 1984, supporting the federal government and commercial industry before launching Logical Innovations, Inc. in November 2006.


Logical Innovations’ clients include NASA at twelve locations across the country and numerous other federal agencies. Logical Innovations is headquartered in Houston, Texas, with operations in Alabama, California, Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Texas, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., specializing in financial and acquisition services, event/exhibits management, strategic communications/outreach, training/education, information technology, administrative services, and logistics.


Logical Innovations has received numerous customer, employee, and community recognitions, including being honored as the FY19 NASA Agency Level Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year, UHCL community and philanthropic awards, and One of Houston’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For 2012 through 2021, with national recognition in 2019 through 2021.
Denise was honored as a leadHER in STEM, designated as a SUPERLady by the SUPERGirls SHINE Foundation in 2021, Distinguished Alumna in 2017 by UHCL, Entrepreneurial Lifetime Achievement Award by the Houston Technology Center in 2017, named Small Business Person of the Year in 2016 by the U.S. Small Business Administration – Houston District, and Distinguished Alumna in 2016 by the COM.


Denise’s vision led to the establishment of The Logical Innovations Scholarship with the COM Foundation in 2012 and in 2016, The Logical Innovations Hawk Advantage Scholarship with UHCL; in 2018, an endowed scholarship with the COM Foundation and an annual endowed STEM scholarship for student teacher internships with UHCL; in 2020, established The Dr. Hubert Darnell Glover Memorial Endowed Scholarship at Prairie View A&M University.


Denise mentors other growing small companies, participates in speaking engagements for students and federal agencies, serves on the COM Foundation Board, COM School of Business Advisory Board, UHCL Industry Advisory Board for the College of Science and Engineering, small business councils throughout NASA, and on the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership Board of Directors. She is also an active member of her church.
