Joycelyn Williams has navigated her life with excellence. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Prairie View A&M University. She continued graduate studies at Prairie View A&M in business management. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority and was elected MS Alpha Kappa Alpha. She is the co-founder of Williams6 Enterprise and is responsible for a multi-million-dollar revenue through the purchasing and selling of real estate. Serving as the former chair for Pivot Theatrical Modeling, Williams is now a speaker for women empowerment programs and youth assemblies.

Williams co-chaired her company’s Diversity and Inclusion Initiative and led the design and implementation of the first diversity and inclusion program in Houston. She designed a mentoring program for tenure employees, which provided development opportunities for the employees. She also designed a rewards program for employees recognized by other employees for their exceptional work. Williams was elected by the Young Professional as the divisional mentor. Serving as lead analyst, Williams’ team was responsible for the design and implementation of process and structure for the nation’s largest auto insurer, which has a value exceeding 80 billion. She helped migrate over 400 offices into less than 20 while handling the logistics for thousands of employees. Williams has a 95% favorable outcome in third party lawsuits. She designed and implemented a training curriculum for new employees which reduced training time and increased skill and productivity. She has completed multiple management and leadership development programs. Her mentoring leadership skills has resulted in young adults’ succeeding in professional careers like real estate, management and business ownership. She is highly recognized for hosting and preparing large mentoring events in her home for many young adults and families. She hosts the annual Alpha Phi Alpha scholarship workshop and dinner at her home.

Williams is part owner of Presidential Cigars and 5Central, an upscale cigar bar and restaurant in Houston. She is the founder of Lover’s Night Valentine’s Dinner, which honors married couples and their commitment to marriage and family. She is a consultant with EME Consultants. She also co-chaired the Houston’s United Negro College Fund GALA, setting a UNCF Houston Branch fundraising record.

Williams is happily married to Terry Williams, Vice President of HEB Stores, and they have four beautiful children. Joycelyn loves family time and traveling. She is a proud member of Fallbrook Church and believes in sharing her talents with others to empower a better future.
