Lea Bogle

For over 30 years, Lea Bogle has been a trail blazer in the wireless industry and has served as President and CEO of Premier Wireless since 1993. She started at the bottom, working as a telemarketer in 1983, selling pagers. She spent nearly 10 years in the paging industry and was always ranked in the top 5 across the country, no matter what position she held.

On September, 30 1993, Bogle’s position was eliminated and she woke up on October 1st unemployed for the first time in her life. After interviewing with a couple of companies, Bogle decided that the next time she was unemployed, she would be the first to know, not that last. With that, she found an office, bought her first computer, read her first entrepreneurship book, The e-myth, and on November 12, 1993, Premier Wireless began.

In the beginning, she focused her efforts on small and mid-size construction and service companies and began providing the bare bone communication basics, a pager. In 1997, she expanded and began providing push-to-talk radios, cell phones, and accessories to both construction companies and service companies. By the year 2000, Bogle had expanded again and was providing cell phone service to local government agencies, including Fort Bend ISD and Fort Bend County—two of her clients to this day.

Bogle is one of the few women entrepreneurs in the wireless industry and Premier Wireless is the only MWBE, HUB Certified dealer on the State of Texas DIR contract for any of the four major carriers. Today, Premier provides a consultative approach when working with their clients and they help them leverage the technology to do more, to reduce expenses, to increase operational efficiency, and to communicate better. They achieve this by listening to their clients, understanding their goals and their operational challenges and they offer a wide variety of solutions that address the needs of their clients. Some of the solutions include dispatch and GPS solutions, electronic forms that minimize and eliminate errors in the field, and IOT solutions that reduce operational costs and provide real-time information.

Growing up in a single parent home, with a mother who had been run over by a drunk driver, she learned early how to be self-sufficient and how to take care of others early in life. Bogle has never forgotten the numerous strangers and friends who helped care for her and her brother during her mother’s numerous surgeries and has lived her life trying to pay it forward. She believes in mentoring other people and has successfully helped many of her former employees gain the skill sets necessary to start their own businesses.

Celebrating her 24th year in business, Bogle is still driven to be the best. She is a recent graduate (Cohort 8) of the Goldman Sach’s 10,000 Small Businesses program in Houston. Today, Bogle serves on the board of the Dalton Dehart Photographic Foundation, has previously served on several other Boards with other non-profits and now volunteers at the Montrose Center in Houston.  Bogle has 2 daughters and lives in Sugar Land.
