Lynn Clouser

Lynn Clouser maintains a laser-focused approach to serving the needs of Missouri City’s residents and stakeholders. On December 21, 2020, she stepped into her role as Council Member At-Large Position #2 and immediately implemented plans and programs that reflect her commitment to the “Show Me” city. Almost two years later, she refuses to waiver from her platform of visibility, trustworthiness, an empathetic ear and attending to the needs of the people who live, work, and play in the city where she calls home.

During her first run for the city council, she promised to be accessible, visible, and responsive to her constituents, making public safety a priority and identifying and implementing strategies to support local businesses. A few months after taking office, she kept her promise by creating the inaugural Small Business Advisory Committee, an appointed committee of Missouri City business owners and residents who suggest and develop programs to help local business owners thrive and grow. Moreover, Lynn is a trustworthy steward of city finances, from prioritizing public safety to rendering favorable votes for the revitalization of the Texas Parkway and Cartwright corridors. She attends many diverse events that reflect her commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) across Missouri City. Lynn has kept every promise she made.

Lynn grew up in Chasewood and attended E.A. Jones Elementary, Missouri City Jr. High School, and The High School for Health Professions. Two exceptional children call her “Mom,” including her seventeen-year-old son Marshall, who is living and thriving on the autism spectrum, and her eleven-year-old daughter, Lauryn, a creative and athletic young lady with an entrepreneurial spirit.

A graduate of Hampton University, Councilwoman Lynn Clouser has over twenty-five years of professional experience in sales and marketing, primarily within the healthcare industry. She is the Director of Marketing for a local medical company and lends her time to various boards and organizations in and around Fort Bend County, such as Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Hope For Three Autism Advocates, Smart Girls Foundation, Co-Founder of Autism Caregivers Around the Bend Support Group, The Fort Bend Women’s Center, FBISD Strategic Business Committee, and Farmers Market Partners-Sienna. She and her family attend The Fort Bend Church in Missouri City.

Civil service flows through her veins. Lynn is proud to be a part of a legacy of leadership that has been passed on by her father, Judge Joel Clouser, Sr., retired Fort Bend County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2, and her mother, retired educator Gloria Clouser. Lynn stands on her commitment to building unity in our Missouri City CommUNITY.
