Toni Beck

Toni is the Vice President of External Affairs for Comcast in the Texas region, with leadership responsibility for Comcast Cable’s local government relations, digital equity and community impact, and external communications.

Comcast Cable – one of Comcast Corporation’s three primary businesses – (Comcast Cable, NBCUniversal and Sky) – is one of the nation’s largest video, high-speed internet, and phone providers to residential customers under the Xfinity brand, and it also provides these services to businesses under the Comcast Business brand.

In her role, Toni is responsible for advocating for and building Comcast’s brand to key stakeholders in the Texas region, working to bridge the digital divide, and strengthening the company’s standing in communities across Southeast Texas.

An external affairs executive with more than 25 years of senior-level experience, Toni previously served as Vice President, Communications and Community Relations for NextDecade Corporation. In this role, she led stakeholder engagement, government relations and external communications efforts for one of the largest proposed infrastructure projects in Texas, a liquefied natural gas export terminal.

Prior to that, she served as the Vice President, Corporate Communications and Community Relations at Waste Management where she advanced key business imperatives through proactive media relations and advocacy efforts. Additionally, she helped position the company as a thought leader in sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Toni also held numerous communications and external affairs leadership roles in the energy industry – at Entergy, an electric utility serving customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas; at Spectra Energy, one of North America’s largest natural gas pipeline companies; and at Duke Energy, one of America’s largest energy holding companies.

Toni earned a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Political Studies from University of Cape Town, South Africa. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to Maine with her partner, Bill Yardley.
