Yasmin Huebinger

Yasmin joined Capital One soon after graduating college and has spent a decade-and-a-half in virtually every aspect of commercial banking. She began in credit and underwriting, focusing on a multitude of areas, including energy, health care, and commercial and industrial. For over a decade, she served as a relationship manager, focusing primarily on the middle market, where she provided her clients strategic financial advice and solutions.  

In her current role, Yasmin manages Capital One’s Middle Market banking efforts for Houston and Central Texas. She leads a team of bankers focused on originating and maintaining new banking relationships and leading the strategic growth objectives in the market.  She also serves as the Houston Market President, where her primary focus is to strengthen Capital One’s presence and influence across the region. 

As a native Houstonian, Yasmin is active in her community and is especially interested in promoting opportunities for women. In this vein, she was the 2020 board chair for The Women’s Resource of Greater Houston, helping successfully navigate the organization through the COVID-19 pandemic. She remains a board member. Additionally, she is an active member of the Secured Finance Network, the Greater Houston Partnership’s – Executive Women’s Partnership, and is a graduate of Leadership Houston Class XXX. 

Yasmin is also actively involved in the bank’s Diversity & Inclusion efforts.  In recognition of her business achievements, Yasmin received Capital One’s 2016 Banker of the Year Award and was also honored by the National Diversity Council as a “Power 50 Women” in Houston in both 2018 and 2020.

Yasmin received a bachelor’s degree in Finance from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX. Yasmin, her husband Jason, and two children, Jack and Claire, reside in Houston.
