Dr. Lacey Brooks

Dr. Lacey Brooks is the Houston Regional Manager of Hearing Aid Express, Inc., one of the largest privately owned hearing aid providers in the State of Texas. Dr. Brooks has been with the company for more than five years and is responsible for managing six clinics in the Houston area while seeing a full patient load at the Bellaire headquarters. Dr. Brooks specializes in working with and treating the hearing impaired and those with tinnitus. She is passionate about helping others, improving her patients’ quality of life and their ability to function effectively in the hearing world.

Dr. Brooks has a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry with a pre-med concentration and a Doctorate of Audiology from Lamar University. Dr. Brooks relocated to the Houston area from Louisiana for her clinical residency in the Houston Medical Center. After completing her residency and joining Hearing Aid Express, Inc., Dr. Brooks continues to be extremely active in the Houston community and abroad.

Dr. Brooks has been a part of several medical mission trips with the charity group HALA (Hearing Aid for Latin America), at times seeing more than 900 patients in a three-day period.  Dr. Brooks is currently serving on the board for LSU Houston Alumni Chapter, a nonprofit organization that funds scholarships to attend Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La.  She has also volunteered her time with the Be An Angel Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and Church Under the Bridge.

Dr. Brooks is active in several professional organizations, including being a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), Texas Academy of Audiology (TAA) and is a Professional Member of the American Tinnitus Association (ATA). Dr. Brooks has been featured several times on Great Day Houston.

Dr. Brooks credits her success, drive and values to her parents. She states that the love, support and direction from her mother Connie Brooks and her father, the late Randy Brooks, is what molded her into the woman she is today. Dr. Brooks stated, “Everything I am or will ever become is because of my mom, dad and the Lord. Both of my parents taught me so much and I am truly blessed to have had such amazing role models as my parents.”

One of Dr. Brooks’ favorite quotes is, “Always smile. Sometimes joy is the source of your smile and other times your smile is the source of someone else’s joy.”
