Dr. Chakilla Robinson White

With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Chakilla Robinson White is an accomplished healthcare executive in the sectors of operations, learning and development, and teammate experience. A visionary leader, Dr. Robinson White currently serves as the Chief Learning and Fulfillment Officer at DaVita, where she sets the strategic agenda for the Wisdom Teams. In this role, she leads enterprise learning and teammate fulfillment initiatives that bring purpose, connection, belonging, and growth to over 55,000 teammates — bringing The DaVita Way to life in meaningful and measurable ways.

Born and raised in Little Rock, AR, Dr. Robinson White is a first-generation college graduate who holds a B.A. in Economics from Wellesley College, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and a Doctorate in Organizational Learning and Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania. Her passion for healthcare was sparked in high school when a close friend was paralyzed in an accident, inspiring her commitment to care that directly impacts patients and communities.

Dr. Robinson White’s distinguished career includes leadership roles at Tenet Health and Booz Allen Hamilton. She previously served as Group Vice President for DaVita’s Team Galaxy, where she improved clinical, operational, and financial performance across five states. Her professional ethos is grounded in the belief that she was created to help others live their best lives. That conviction led her to pursue a doctorate to build systems that enable cohesive teamwork and effective standards at work that exist beyond her supervision.

Dr. Robinson White serves on the board of Bridge of Life, a global nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing and treating chronic diseases in underserved communities. She is a former board member of AccessHealth, the Houston National Kidney Foundation, and the Texas Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners. All of these organizations’ goals directly align with Dr. Robinson White’s: better understanding of the plight of the patient to create more effective and efficient healthcare.

She and her husband founded the White Family Foundation, which supports causes related to education, healthcare, and hardship recovery. She lives outside of Houston with her husband and two children, who are her biggest cheerleaders. Together, they are on a mission to visit all 50 states.

Dr. Robinson White’s personal motto is: “Grace is a gift to yourself and others.” It’s a philosophy that underpins both her leadership and life. Dr. Robinson White is deeply committed to advancing human potential, making a lasting impact in healthcare, and lifting others as she climbs.
