Barbara Vilutis

Honoree 2017, Barbara Vilutis has over 30 years of financial experience.  Vilutis joined Amegy Bank in 2002 to establish the Wealth Management Group.  She currently is the Executive Director of Strategic Growth at Amegy Bank.  She leads the bank’s initiatives for extending market coverage, improving community relationships and managing strategic relationships. She previously served in various senior roles in Private Banking for JP Morgan Chase and predecessor banks in Houston.

Vilutis is active in the Houston community serving on not-for-profit boards.  She is the current Chair of the Board of the American Red Cross, Houston Region and has served as a board member since 2011.  Vilutis has served on the Board of Goodwill Industries since 2004.

Vilutis is active with The Greater Houston Partnership and has served in various leadership roles with the Executive Women’s Partnership, which she previously chaired.  Vilutis also served as Chairman of the American Bankers Association’s Wealth Management and Trust Conference from 2013-2016.

Vilutis received her undergraduate degree, graduating cum laude, in Business Administration from Millsaps College in Jackson, MS and an MBA in Finance from the University of Mississippi.  She currently holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.

Vilutis has been married over 30 years and has two adult daughters.
