Christine Mack

Christine Mack

Christine Mack has been with BP for 10 years and serves as the Regional Head of Procurement for the Americas within the Global Business Services organization in Houston, Texas. Her experience at BP includes a multi-billion-dollar portfolio across the categories of Human Resources, Professional Services, Business Consulting, Property, Travel, Meetings and Events and Contingent Labor with a global supply base covering 58 countries. Mack has over 25 years of category management experience in both the private and public sectors including Best Buy, Target Corporation and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration at the Johnson Space Center. She has led large procurement teams in a variety of indirect areas for procurement, supplier diversity, systems and processes. She has led outsourced procurement organizations to deliver product and service value, implemented new acquisition processes, and led the development of operational processes, procedures and performance management of large outsourced arrangements. While at NASA, Mack spent time in Moscow overseeing Russian Language and Logistics Services among other contractual relationships during the transition from the Shuttle Mir to the International Space Station.
She is a supporter of diversity and inclusion involved in multiple affinity groups including serving as a core member of the BP Women International Women’s Network, a catalyst to attract and retain talent by facilitating professional and personal growth through a strong community where career networks are built. In 2019, Mack led Women in History Month to build and sustain momentum for International Women’s Day while deepening connections across BP’s Business Resource Groups. She has been a mentor as part of BP Energia to improve the development and advancement of Latinos. Mack is an active member of the BP Supplier Diversity Advisory Council driving economic growth in the diverse supplier community by creating systematic enhancements to drive supplier inclusion. Externally, Mack serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Houston Minority Supplier Development Council and spent two years as a mentor through the Women’s Energy Network.
Mack holds a Masters’ in Business Administration from the University of Houston, Clear Lake, with a concentration in Management Information Systems, a Bachelor of Science degree from North Dakota State University double majoring in Business Administration and Industrial Psychology and is a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM). She and her husband, Brad, have three children and reside in Katy, Texas.
