Tennille Johnson

Tennille Johnson is a Pharmacist, Community Advocate and Entrepreneur. She is the CEO and founder of Scrubs To The Rescue, LLC and TrxJ Optimum Solutions. Growing up in the streets of Chicago, Tennille knew early on that she wanted to help others and be an asset to her community. As a result, she attended and graduated from Texas Southern University School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with a Pharm.D. Degree in 2003. With over 16 years experience in the healthcare industry, she prides herself on being a lifelong learner and community activist. While attending TSU, with a focus on community service, she became an esteem member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc and remains active with the Suburban Fort Bend Alumni Chapter

Professionally, she has always displayed a level of commitment as a resource for her community. With a focus on preventive medicine, she believes that “When you know better, you do better”. As the CEO and founder of TRXJ Optimum Solutions, Tennille is dedicated to developing community health screenings in an effort to educate others how to prevent common disease states like Heart Disease and Diabetes. She volunteers with Nursing Home Agencies to provide Brown Bag education, helping to close the healthcare disparity gap seen in our nation.

Tennille has been a part of numerous community and professional organizations, including Houston Area Urban League, Golden National Honor Society, Pharmacy Hospital Association and Texas Pharmacy Association. As a member of the Texas Pharmacy Association, Tennille advocates for patient rights as it relates to medication affordability and accessibility. She also played a pivotal role in preparing and administering COVID-19 Vaccines to the indigent population of Harris County.

Scrubs To The Rescue is a widely recognized medical uniform retailer specializing in innovation, technology and fashionable medical scrubs to meet the high demands of healthcare professionals. As a result, STTR was the proud recipient of the Houston Area Urban League Small Business University 2019 Pitch Competition and the DMars.com Top 50 Black Professionals and Entrepreneur of Texas Award. STTR is a pillar of the community with a duty to serve, having donated over 200 scrubs to the homeless.

With a mindset of success and service, Tennille is looking forward to being a partner in more community initiatives and expanding her companies.
