Wooden has made a great impact on the increased tourism traffic in the Humble area. Since 2017, she has brought numerous well-known shows and events to the Humble Civic Center and the Charles Bender Theatre. In addition to her impressive public relations experience, Wooden’s “go big or go home” attitude has played an important role in revitalizing the city of Humble by drawing visitors beyond the loop to experience hidden gems in Humble.

Before serving under Mayor Merle Aaron with the City of Humble, Wooden worked in public relations as a liaison for Harris County Commissioner Jack Morman.  She has a background in public relations and marketing, health and wellness management and graphic design, having done extensive design work for celebrity and local clients.

Wooden holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness Management with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Superior.  She also studied Theatre Arts at Sweet Briar College, Virginia.  She is also a certified Life Coach and Independent Wellness Consultant with a passion for promoting the importance of work-life balance.
