Joi-Lin Hunt- Venison

Joi-Lin Hunt-Venison, Esq. is a true believer of anything can be achieved with hard work and dedication. After earning her law degree from Southern University and her Master’s degree in Tax Law from Southern Methodist University, Mrs. Venison worked for International Tax Advisors (ITA) as a tax attorney. A true entrepreneur at heart, in 2007, Mrs. Venison left ITA and opened her own law practice – The Hunt Law Group and her own income tax franchise – Caliente Xpress Tax Service.

In 2010, Mrs. Venison saw the movie “Good Hair” and was astonished to find out the hair industry was a multi-billion dollar industry.  This was news to her, especially since she had never worn hair extensions.  Determined to get into the hair industry, she and her husband partnered together and opened Crème de la Crème Hair, an upscale hair extension boutique in the Galleria area. Their hair extensions have been featured on television shows like VH1’s Basketball Wives and music videos of some of the hottest artists, including Justin Bieber.  In 2012, Mrs. Venison wanted to reach the masses and become the “Forever 21” of the hair industry, so she and her husband opened the full-service hair salon, Super Weave Xpress.  You know their slogan, Super Weave Xpress is Houston’s Home of the $50 Sew-In Weave. With its tremendous success and accelerated growth, Super Weave Xpress has become a multi-million dollar business, with 6 locations in Texas and Louisiana.

Mrs. Venison is married to Corey Venison, and they have a daughter, Khloe (7) and a son, Corey (3).  She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
