Runsi Sen

Runsi Sen is the Founder, President, and CEO of Ovarcome, a leading global advocacy organization dedicated to raising awareness, funding research, and providing financial, psycho-social, and informational assistance to empower women and their families in Ovarcoming ovarian cancer. Sen lost her beloved mother to ovarian cancer, and in her memory and with her inspiration, created Ovarcome. With a vision rooted in empathy, equity, empowerment, and impact, Sen has led Ovarcome’s expansion into a globally recognized platform that bridges clinical care, advocacy, and community outreach.

Sen graduated from Rice University with an MBA in Strategy & Marketing. She also holds a master’s degree in economics. Drawing from her academic and business background, international work experience, and as a caregiver and family member, Sen brings a unique perspective to nonprofit leadership and patient advocacy. Her mission is one that is personal and reflective of her vision, not only as a leader but also as a daughter, caregiver, and a family member of those impacted by this devastating disease. Her work is deeply focused on creating pathways to treatment access and information equity, especially for the underserved and underrepresented communities worldwide.
