Diedra Fontaine

Diedra Fontaine is the Executive Director of the Office of Development for Prairie View A&M University. Fontaine previously served as the Director of Diversity for United Airlines. Fontaine holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Computer Information Systems from the University of North Texas and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Southern University.

Fontaine is the recipient of several awards including the Founders Award for the Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund, Legacy Hero Alumnae from Texas Southern University, the IMPACT award from Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church and honored as a Women of Distinction by the Crohns & Colitis Foundation, a Woman on the Move by the Texas Executive Women Inc. and inducted into the Houston Women’s Business Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame.

Fontaine is a proud native Houstonian. She is very active in the Houston community and serves on several boards including The Ensemble Theatre, Dress for Success Houston, The Holocaust Museum and Theatre Under The Stars.

Fontaine is a graduate of Leadership Houston and an active member of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church, The Links, Inc. – Houston Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Jack & Jill of America- Houston Chapter.

Fontaine is married to Terrance H. Fontaine and they have one daughter, Courtney.
