A born leader, she has long managed many aspects of her law firm, including serving as: a Global Executive Committee Member; a US Management Committee Member; the US Head of Employment and Labor; a Steering Committee Member of the Global Employment and Labor Practice, and a past partner-in-Charge of Houston, the US operation’s largest office. A key member of Norton Rose Fulbright’s management, Clark has adeptly led the law firm through a combination with the international Norton Rose law firm and a merger with a major US East Coast law firm, creating an internationally acclaimed global law firm serving major international and national corporations through its 4,100 attorneys working in over 50 offices worldwide. Clark’s extraordinary leadership helped grow the law firm to be an international legal giant. Her vital strategic direction, strong fiscal management, exceptional oversight and corporate governance, and outstanding interpersonal skills have been instrumental to the evolution and success of Norton Rose Fulbright. Excellence is Clark’s hallmark.

As a highly-valued business and legal adviser, Clark routinely handles major litigation and provides strategic advice to global and national corporations on a broad array of complex governance, regulatory, employment, business, and enforcement matters. A seasoned trial lawyer, she is often chosen to try “bet-the-company” cases. Clark’s management and leadership skills also benefit the Houston community, where she actively participates in significant governance matters including, but not limited to, serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees of Baylor College of Medicine and a Member of the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association.

Her skillful leadership, exceptional legal prowess, and strong corporate governance experience often result in significant professional recognition, including being named a 2017 Acritas Star, one of Savoy Magazine’s 2015 Most Influential Black Lawyers, Profiles in Diversity Journal’s 2014 Women Worth Watching, Human Resource Executive and Lawdragon’s 2013-2017 Nation’s Most Powerful Employment Attorneys, and regular inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America and Chambers & Partners.
