Erin Asprec

Erin began her career in healthcare at the Methodist Health Care System in 1998. She joined the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System in 2002, working as the Director of Business Development and then as the Executive Liaison to the President and CEO of the System, Dan Wolterman. Erin then served on the TMC Campus as the Chief Executive Officer of the Memorial Hermann Heart & Vascular Institute for six years. She planned and managed the construction of the Institute, comprised of 265,000 square feet and 147 beds.

In March 2010, Erin was named Chief Executive Officer of Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital where she focused on the growth of key service lines, including oncology, heart and vascular, orthopedics, neuroscience, and specialty surgery services. She fostered and developed the University of Texas Medical School relationship at Memorial Hermann Southeast through physician recruitment, and by building new models for collaboration and growth in key service lines.

Since 2012, Erin has been active in both the Texas Hospital Association and American Hospital Association, serving on the THA’s Council on Policy Development, and as a delegate to the AHA Regional Policy Board. She was recently elected to the THA’s Board of Trustees, offering her a larger role in changing policy to support safe, affordable, and quality health care.

In 2013, Erin’s role as Chief Executive Officer was expanded to include the new Memorial Hermann Pearland Medical Complex. The facility is home to the second Convenient Care Center in the Memorial Hermann System, which opened in February 2014, and Memorial Hermann Pearland Hospital which opened in March 2016.

In March 2015, Erin was promoted to Senior Vice President/Regional President of Memorial Hermann’s South Region. The South Region oversight encompasses leadership, direction, and integration of the Region’s hospitals, Memorial Hermann Pearland, Memorial Hermann Southeast, Memorial Hermann Southwest, and Memorial Hermann Sugar Land, as well as 44 ambulatory care sites.

Erin spearheaded the formation of Women Leaders of Memorial Hermann (WLMH). The mission of the WLMH program is to build a strong network and a culture of excellence among women leaders that have a far reaching impact both within the organization, as well as in the community.

Erin earned a Master in Health Administration degree from Saint Louis University, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. She is currently a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She also serves on the Board of the Pearland Independent School District Education Foundation, as well as the Women’s Initiative Steering Committee of the United Way of Greater Houston.
