Tiko Reynolds-Hausman

Tiko Reynolds-Hausman is the president and CEO of TKO BizSolutions and the director of development for the Transportation Agency Group– Houston Region, a local nonprofit dedicated to building a broad‐based coalition of businesses, local governments and community organizations to demonstrate public support for full and adequate funding of transportation infrastructure by the state and federal governments.
Reynolds-Hausman has over 17 years of experience ensuring the growth and success of Houston area small businesses. Her expertise in business development, project management, community relations and federal government contract compliance has resulted in the implementation of over 30 programs in partnership with local governments, corporations, business associations and independent school districts.
Reynolds-Hausman has connected hundreds of small businesses to certification opportunities and requisitions that have resulted in their winning of multi-million-dollar subcontracting contracts. Reynolds-Hausman is considered an expert in the procurement community.
Prior to starting TKO BizSolutions, she was the Small Business Relations officer for the Metropolitan Transit Authority. Her responsibilities included long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action for the DBE Program. She is most proud of her efforts in coordinating the Interagency Mentor Protégé Program, a collaborative initiative of METRO, the City of Houston, The Port of Houston and the Houston Independent School District. IMPP has grown to include an additional three agencies with the mission of supporting minority business development in government contracting.
Reynolds-Hausman is a founding member of Higher Heights for America and a member of Walker’s Legacy, both organizations that support women in politics and business. She is a mentor for Stepping in Strength Mentoring Program at James Madison High School, life-time member of The World Youth Foundation, co-chair of the Greater Houston Black Chamber Economic Development Committee and a member of the Small Business Committee for the Houston Contractors Association. She was an appointee for Mayor Turner’s Transition Team, Traffic and Transportation Committee and is an alumni of Leadership Houston Class XXXII.
Reynolds-Hausman is also a staunch advocate for equitable public education policy and a member of the State of Texas PTA Houston Revitalization Team. She was recognized as a 2017-2018 League of Women Voters Rising Star, and most recently she received the Walker’s Legacy Power25 Award, which celebrates recipients’ dedication to improving and innovating the Houston community.
In her downtime, she enjoys traveling with her husband and two kids, yoga and dinner parties with friends.
