Mensah is a native of Houston, Texas where she lives with her husband and two daughters.  She graduated from Rice University in 2000, where she was a member of the track and field team, before attending the University of Texas School of Law, from which she graduated with honors in 2006. Mensah still fancies herself a “runner,” but in reality, she squeezes in running and other workouts whenever she can.  When she’s not working, she can be found at any local restaurant with her family talking about sports, music and all Marvel movies.
