Cynthia Ginyard

Cynthia Ginyard is a retired Alief ISD educator, who served as HR-Director of Employee Relations, Principal, Assistant Principal and Speech Language Pathologist.  Upon retirement, she became engaged with the Fort Bend County Democratic Party.  She was motivated to get involved in politics during President Obama’s first campaign.  She is the owner of CSPAC, LLC – Corporate Speech and Communication, specializing in Accent Modification and Professional Development.

Ginyard is a passionate leader, with an effusive personality. Having empowered children and adults throughout her career, she brings an abundance of human relations skills with proven, effective leadership.  In March 2016, Ginyard was elected Chairwoman and re-elected in March 2018 and 2020, with 70% support.

Ginyard is a change agent by nature and utilizes her strong leadership skills to move the Fort Bend County Democratic Party forward in community engagement, voter education, voter registration, relationship building, and empowerment.  Fort Bend County turned light blue November 2018 and gutted the GOP’s stronghold on the county’s power structure. In 2020, Fort Bend progressed to royal blue.  Ginyard believes that “Only what you do for others counts.”

Ginyard’s other political and community involvement includes:

  • Grievance Panel Member, Office of The Chief Disciplinary Counsel, State Bar of Texas
  • Deputy Voter Registrar (since 2008)
  • VP of Board of Commissioners, Fort Bend County Emergency Service District #5
  • Christmas Home Tours Volunteer
  • Fort Bend Child Advocates (since 2011)

Ginyard is a proud member of The Fort Bend Church and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
