Adrian Stephens

Adrian Stephens is a native Houstonian who is community-focused, next-generation-minded and a lifelong lover of the arts. Adrian’s values are rooted in her passion for people, rebuilding cities, and empowering marginalized groups. She has served as the secretary, vice president, and now current president of the Galena Park ISD School board, which is 85% economically disadvantaged. Through this position, she strengthens partnerships and alliances by providing necessities to the underserved. As a public team lead, she also provides safe havens and resources for Galena ISD students, teachers, staff, and administrators as she believes that neighborhood care through education and infrastructure is the key to building and sustaining healthy communities.

As a young woman, her people’s first mindset was born from a love of connecting with all. Adrian benefitted from her exposure to diverse audiences via dance and music as she was able to engage with people at a time when technology had not advanced into a global phenomenon. As such, Adrian performed a natural pivot from arts into people engagement with her role as a realtor and a celebrated 12-year career in pharmaceutical sales.

As a woman of the people, Adrian brings this mindset for service and unwavering focus on excellence to Google! Adrian is enthusiastic about championing campaigns and developing programs that introduce and infuse excitement about careers in tech. She is committed to equitably sourcing diverse applicants and desires to create STEAM pipelines that highlight exceptional talent from next-generation and nontraditional groups. Her message is to “explore the limitless possibilities to innovate and exercise creativity!” From this, Adrian wants to empower others to participate in the ‘equity exchanges’ needed to guarantee continued growth in society.

Adrian is a proud alum of Prairie View A&M University (PV) currently completing her Master’s in Human Resource Development from Villanova University and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Married to her perfect match for 9 years, the Honorable Judge Joe Stephens Justice of the Peace, together they raise 3 beautiful daughters: Celine – a National Scholar at PV, Allyn – a member of the Golf Team at Texas A&M, and Aspen (1st Grade) who has an interest in art, musical theater, gymnastics, and piano. Adrian’s family dynamic is an extension of the unlimited opportunities she desires to provide for others and with her support system, experience, and outlook for the future, she will reach her goals!
