Advocate, entrepreneur, and community leader Tracee Seals is a dynamic and accomplished professional, serving in multiple influential roles that reflect her commitment to community empowerment, entrepreneurship, and advocacy. Currently, she holds the position of executive director for Disrupt Gives, a role where she channels her passion for fostering positive change within the marginalized and socioeconomic communities to build more sustainable lives.
Tracee is the CEO of TraceeSealsSpeaks, LLC, a platform through which she leverages her expertise as a two-time SXSW Presenter of Innovative Technology (in 2023 and 2019) and international speaker. Her commitment to innovation and empowering others is further demonstrated by her role as the vice president of the Elevating Women Empowerment Group, a business dedicated to providing networking events for female entrepreneurs and essential business services. Tracee’s journey in business has been marked by success and recognition.
Tracee’s career in the nonprofit sector has been marked by consistent growth and remarkable achievements. Her journey, encompassing roles such as Women’s Business Center Director, Development Director at Katy Christian Ministries, Director of Operations for the 100 Black Men of Houston, and the Foundation Director at Disrupt Gives, showcases her versatility and expertise in nonprofit management. Tracee’s leadership style is characterized by strategic thinking, empathy, an unwavering commitment to equity, and a heart for nonprofits. She has a unique ability to identify organizational needs, develop comprehensive strategies, and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
A standout example of Tracee’s impact has been expanding the 100 Black Men of Houston mentorship program by partnering with Employee Resource Groups (ERG) to facilitate the need for more mentees. She also expanded each nonprofit reach by partnering with other nonprofits which improved their outreach by 70%.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Tracee is actively involved in mentoring students between the ages of 11-13 years old in the Alief School District, and she is a mentor to the Collegiate 100, (a part of the 100 Black Men of America). Tracee is a member of Women in Real Estate, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo member, and WISE-Women in Sports and Events. She is also the Empowering Through Education Strategic Planning Committee Chair. Tracee was recognized for being one of the Top 50 Women Who We Admire in Houston and was named one of the Top 50 Black Professionals & Entrepreneurs. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., embodying the values of sisterhood, scholarship, and service.
Her educational background is equally impressive, holding a B.S. degree in business administration and a B.A. in literary arts, as well as a master’s in healthcare administration from Belhaven Christian University. Currently pursuing her Ph.D. in healthcare administration, Tracee combines her business acumen with a deep understanding of healthcare dynamics. In the realm of health care, Tracee is a certified orthopedic physician assistant (OPA-C) and a certified community health worker (CHW).
