Elvia Rivera-Reyes

With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality and event planning industry, Elvia Rivera-Reyes has earned a reputation as a visionary entrepreneur and respected leader in Houston, Texas. Born in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Rivera-Reyes emigrated to the United States at age 10. As a child, she displayed an entrepreneurial spirit by selling door-to-door. After the loss of her father, she returned to Mexico, where she later became a young mother.

Still just a teenager, she made the courageous decision to cross the border once more—driven by a deep desire for her son to be born in the United States and grow up with greater opportunities. That act marked the awakening of a woman who would live with purpose, responsibility, and absolute love for her family.

Today, she is the proud mother of five children, raised with values, faith, and example. Her story is a testament to overcoming struggle: she founded her business with no money, no documents, no credit, and no fluency in English. What she did have was unshakable faith, clear vision, and iron will. In 2007, after attending the “Caminos Guerreros” seminar, her life took a turn. Since then, Rivera-Reyes has invested 18 years in personal and professional growth.

Rivera-Reyes joined the Houston Chamber of Latino Entrepreneurs, led by CEO Adriana González, whom she credits as a visionary woman committed to the development of Hispanic entrepreneurship—a key stage in shaping her business mindset. She has completed multiple certifications, including business development, sales, emotional intelligence, time management, business structures, and executive excellence.

In 2019, she finished a two-year training as a Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner, enhancing her leadership and human skills. Under her leadership, La Fontaine Reception Hall has generated over $3.5 million in annual revenue and is projected to host more than 500 events next year.

Her success stems from strategic vision, conscious leadership, constant innovation, and teamwork. Recently, Rivera-Reyes underwent a new phase of expansion and structure through Konfronta, guided by professor Melesio Ortega. This progress was strengthened by her husband and partner, Camilo Rivera, whom she honors as her greatest strategic and emotional support. Camilo has been instrumental in financial development and creating new venues for the company. Rivera-Reyes also acknowledges her psychologist and advisor, Vilma Pardo, who has provided essential tools to balance her roles as a mother, wife, and entrepreneur.

Rivera-Reyes states, “I have not built this alone. We are more than 120 souls united by a purpose, and every achievement is a result of the commitment and heart of our team as we continue growing with love and excellence.”

Today, Elvia Rivera-Reyes leads with heart, a deep spiritual connection, social commitment, and immense love for her community. Every client who visits her venues experiences more than an event—they live a transformative, professional, and memorable occasion. Her story inspires those dreaming of entrepreneurship, proving that with faith, vision, and hard work, anything is possible.
