Deavra A. Daughtry, President and CEO of Excellent Care Management, one of the nation’s largest personal in-home care agencies started as a sole proprietorship, now employs over 700 people throughout the Greater Houston Area. Daughtry hails from Houston, Texas and has overcome tremendous odds to emerge as one of the most influential business women and philanthropists in the area. Sharing her compassion and skills, she has trained over 10,000 healthcare employees. An innovative and diverse business woman and passionate philanthropist, she is the CEO of Excellent Care Management, Excel E Care Home Health Care and Purpose to Blessing Productions. She is also the Owner and President of Platinum Results Marketing and International Décor & Events.

Daughtry is a founder extraordinaire, having formed a successful foundation–Texas Women’s Empowerment Foundation International that has been in operation since 2002. This foundation serves as a catalyst where families gain necessary tools toward achieving and maintaining a true sense of empowerment—being inspired to reach their personal and professional goals. In 2006, Daughtry developed the Empowerment Community Center, where she utilized her personal resources and invested $800,000 for construction. Through the Empowerment Center, she has impacted over 100,000 lives, sponsoring many free seminars and workshops. Additionally, she continues to make a difference in the youth of the community through her donation of $100,000 in scholarships.

Daughtry holds a Doctor of Divinity degree and a Doctor of Humanity degree from Logos Christian College and Graduate School. She serves on the board of directors for several local, national and international organizations. She has published three books, with a best seller, “Purpose to Blessings.”  Daughtry’s main mission in life is making a difference in the lives of others.  She is most proud of her greatest role as mother to her two beautiful children, Chaz and Ebone.
