Eveitt Payne

Eveitt Payne is a Cleveland, Ohio, native and distinguished leader in the banking industry with over three decades of experience. Currently, she serves as the senior vice president and retail area manager for Third Coast Bank, where she manages an extensive network of branches across Houston, Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio. Known for her ability to develop leaders, enhance brand visibility, and foster strong community ties, Eveitt is most proud of her role in creating a robust succession plan that ensures the continued growth and success of Third Coast Bank.

Eveitt’s career in banking began in 1989 when she joined the industry as a teller. Her skills and dedication quickly earned her a promotion to assistant manager within just six months. Over the next 13 years, Eveitt ascended the ranks to become a regional manager and eventually a senior vice president. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her inspirational leadership and unwavering commitment to her teams, making her a respected figure in the banking industry.
Beyond her banking career, Eveitt is also an accomplished entrepreneur. In 2003, she founded her own Farmers Insurance Agency, which she operated until 2009. In addition, she owns EPayne Etiquette Company, a venture that reflects her diverse interests and dedication to empowering others through education and professional development.

Eveitt’s commitment to her community is as impressive as her professional achievements. Since 2002, she has been a deaconess and servant leader at The Fountain of Praise. Her community involvement extends to her work as a former advisory board member for the YMCA, a former board member for the Tri-County Chamber, and a board member and literacy champion for Woodlawn in Alabama. She also made significant contributions as the founding president of the African American chapter of an employee resource group at PNC in Alabama.

Educationally, Eveitt holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and studied at Houston Baptist University (now Houston Christian University) and the University of Phoenix. Her leadership philosophy is grounded in compassion, leading by example, and the belief that mentorship is crucial to success. Throughout her career, she has been guided and supported by mentors such as Dr. Tracy Weeden, Dr. Mia Wright, Rosalyn Houston, and Dr. Bridget Hilliard. She has been married to her husband, Carl P. Payne, for 24 years.
