JUDY FOSTON STANFORD

In 1984, Judy Foston Stanford, after working for Fortune 500 companies in sales and marketing nationally for ten years, founded a full-service boutique communications company specializing in marketing, advertising, public relations and special events. Foston International Communications Inc. has provided communication services for various companies over the years such as Coca-Cola Enterprises, Coca-Cola USA, Colgate-Palmolive, Communication Workers of America (CWA), Texas Women Empowerment Foundation, HEB Pantry, Houston Community College System, Houston Community College Northeast, Kroger, KPRC-TV (NBC Affiliate), National School Board Association and Texas Southern University, to name a few.  Recently, she planned and purchased advertisement for radio and print in Texas for Beto O’Rourke, Harris County Judge Lina Hildago, Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher and First Tuesday PAC.

Stanford has been the executive producer of The Wash Allen television and radio shows for over 25 years. 

She was the Executive Producer for the Sammy Davis Jr. Awards Show “Sammys” benefitting The Peoples’ Workshop for Visual and Performing Arts and the Coca-Cola Variety Celebrity Revue.  She organized and promoted Coca-Cola “Share the Dream” Essay Contest and Awards Program for high school students for 15 years.

She has worked with such celebrities as Beyonce, James Brown, Ben Vereen, Jose Feliciano, Anthony Pena, Bobby Womack, Janet Dubois, Greg Anderson, Freda Payne, Dixie Brown, Victor Rivers and Hubert, Ronnie, Eloise and Debra Laws as well as many others. 

Stanford served in 2015 as the Vice President of American Advertising Federation, Houston Chapter. Currently, she serves on the National Board of Directors for Sisters Network Inc. and Board Member of the NAACP – Houston Chapter. She also served as the President of the Board for Variety, The Children’s Charity of Houston. During her tenure of three years, she personally raised over $500,000+ for the organization.

Stanford is a determined trailblazer, who has broken many barriers in the marketing and communications arena and has many “firsts” in her resume.
