Deidra “Renee’” Downey is an accomplished leader with over two decades of experience in sales and operations management. She currently serves as the Area Director of Sales and Operations at Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages in Houston, Texas. Renee’ has demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic vision, driving significant revenue growth and operational efficiency across multiple roles within the Coca-Cola system.

In her current role, Renee’ manages over 900 employees in the Houston area and is responsible for overseeing the distribution of 42 million cases, equating to $512 million in revenue. Her strategic oversight ensures the seamless execution of field sales initiatives across local, regional, and national formats.

Renee’’s tenure with CCSWB is marked by progressive leadership roles. She began her career with Coca-Cola as an account manager for large and small stores, progressing through the roles of increasing responsibility. She has also served as district sales manager, area sales manager, director of sales for both the small store channel and food service on-premises for all of West Texas, and director of sales and operations for the Southeast area.

Renee’’s career is a testament to her strategic leadership, operational excellence, and dedication to fostering team growth and development. Her impactful contributions continue to drive success and innovation within Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages. Her ability to analyze sales data, develop actionable plans, and foster a culture of learning and development has been a cornerstone of her success.

Before joining Coca-Cola, Renee’ managed sales and operations at Campus Design/Double T Zone and Cardinal’s Sports Center in Lubbock, Texas, where she was instrumental in increasing sales and managing retail operations.

Renee’’s educational background includes studies in exercise and sports science at Texas Tech and West Texas A&M.

Renee’ is a champion for inclusion & diversity and is committed to promoting diversity throughout Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages and the community. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Texas and is involved with NextUp, formerly the Network of Executive Women. Renee’ was named a 2023 Women Who Mean Business honoree by the Houston Business Journal. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and rooting for her favorite sports teams.
