Samille R. Frazier-Savoie

Samille R. Frazier-Savoie is the Executive Director of The BES Group, Inc. of Texas and is a motivated leader with strong organizational and clinical abilities. Frazier-Savoie is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and a National Board Certified Counselor.  She empowers those suffering from substance abuse and mental illness to live their best life through helping them overcome dependencies, recover from illness and adjust to life beginning with a firm, but nurturing relationship.

Acknowledging the importance of mental health as a youth, Frazier-Savoie verbalized her desire to pursue psychology as a career.  Never wavering from the life purpose identified, she began counseling well before becoming an adult being characterized as “wise beyond her years.”

A native of Houston, Texas, Frazier-Savoie displayed promise early in life, as she was a member of Top Teens of America (sponsored by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.) Houston Chapter, ranking 2nd Runner-up Ms. Top Teen and Honorable Mention in Top Teens of America statewide conference in her senior year of high school.  Frazier-Savoie earned her Bachelor of Arts from Austin College in Sherman, Texas.  She also earned a Master of Science from Texas A&M University – Commerce, Texas.  She is married to Terry Savoie and has one daughter, Lady Havlyn.

Frazier-Savoie has worked in the field of substance abuse and mental health counseling since 1999, working with children placed in foster care, probationers, parents involved with CPS and referrals from the court system.  At The BES Group, Inc., Frazier-Savoie developed and has maintained the Mental Health Division of the company.  Assisting with grant writing, implementing curriculum, training clinical and medical staff and enhancing programs and services, Frazier-Savoie continues to raise the standard of care and treatment for patients, utilizing an integrated behavioral treatment model.  Transitioning from Chief Clinical Officer to Executive Director with The BES Group, Inc. speaks to her dedication and passion for those struggling with addiction and mental illness.

Frazier-Savoie co-facilitates the youth Sunday school class at her church weekly, teaching self-control, respect and love for self and others.  She has shared her knowledge of wellness, presenting to various sororities, churches and conferences throughout Texas.  She enjoys singing, writing, reading and family time. Frazier-Savoie credits her faith in God and a strong support system to her success and life perspective.  She recognizes her father, Charles B. Frazier, as the person she most admires and respects.  She continues now in this work to model wellness for her daughter, Lady Havlyn.
