Heather Holland

As Manager of Supplier Diversity & Local Participation for TransCanada’s Major Projects Organization, Heather Holland is responsible for leading, developing and implementing a multi-year supplier diversity strategy and program for a portfolio of U.S. and Canadian energy infrastructure projects in excess of US $20 billion. In this role, Holland works to ensure integration of aboriginal, minority and women-owned businesses into corporate culture and supply chain processes.

Prior to her current role, Holland thrived as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at TransCanada, where she supported various segments in US natural gas and oil operations.

Holland’s almost 20 years’ experience in human resources and labor relations across steel manufacturing and education industries has established her as a strong performer who delivers strategic, yet practical business results and solutions.

Holland, a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), is a member of the following organizations:

  • National Supplier Development Council
  • Women’s Business Enterprise National Council
  • United Stated Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Procurement Council
  • Houston Minority Supplier Development Council

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Holland holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a certificate in Organizational Development from Queens University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Holland currently resides in Houston, TX, and she enjoys traveling and is a bit of a foodie.
