Nancy C. Yuill, PhD, RN

Nancy C. Yuill

Dr. Nancy C. Yuill is the president of Chamberlain University College of Nursing Pearland campus, bringing more than 40 years of academic and leadership experience to the position. In her current role, Yuill oversees curriculum implementation, delivery of student services, growth and development of regional clinical partnerships and management of day-to-day campus operations.
Prior to joining Chamberlain, Yuill served as the dean of the College of Nursing at Houston Baptist University, where she oversaw strategic planning and operations and served for a year as Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs/Provost. Yuill returned to serve as executive director during a leadership change in the dean. Yuill served as a faculty member at Houston Baptist University and, most recently, director of Nursing Excellence at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital, where she established and managed the Nurse Transition to Practice Program for new graduates and new international nurses.
Yuill served on the advisory board for the Academia Partnership for the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System and is a member of the Texas Organization of Baccalaureate and Graduate Nurse Educators, Sigma Theta Tau and the Texas Association of Deans and Directors of Professional Nursing Programs. She serves as a preceptor for undergraduate and graduate nursing students in the greater Houston area and participates in community service efforts geared at community health and nursing education.
Yuill earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing and Master of Science in nursing degrees at Texas Woman’s University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Houston Baptist University.
