Dr. Angela Sturm

Facial Plastic Surgeon, Facial Plastic Surgery Associates

Dr. Angela Sturm is an Associate at Facial Plastic Surgery Associates located in the Texas Medical Center. She has been named one of Houston’s Top Docs for facial plastic surgery and recognized as a 2013 Top Women in Business.

Dr. Sturm attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine and was awarded her M.D. in 2006. She completed residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in 2011. After residency, Dr. Sturm entered the distinguished American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) Fellowship Program and over the course of the year trained side-by-side with Dr. Russell Kridel to gain extensive expertise in cutting edge facial rejuvenation and head and neck surgical techniques. Dr. Sturm also has extensive training and expertise in non-surgical modalities for facial rejuvenation and advanced laser techniques, to help her patients look and feel their best. She completed important clinical research in areas of ethnic rhinoplasty, revision lower eyelid surgery, septoplasty and male rhinoplasty. Dr. Sturm is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.

During her medical training, Dr. Sturm received numerous awards for her surgical excellence, including the Outstanding Otolaryngology Medical Student Award. She has also co-authored and published noteworthy medical journal articles on head and neck surgical techniques, as well as facial plastic surgical techniques.

Dr. Sturm is active in multiple civic and charitable organizations, including Leadership Houston, Greater Houston Area Women’s Chamber of Commerce and The Face Foundation.  She has held board positions in professional organizations, such as the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, as well as community groups.

Passionate about working to rejuvenate our community, Dr. Sturm is also involved with the Citizens for Animal Protection, Leadership Houston, and The Face Foundation. She has also been named as an H-Texas Top Doc in 2013.
