Angela Lee

Angela Lee is a native of Tyler, Texas. She is a graduate of the highly recognized Louisiana Tech University School of Architecture and Interior Design. Her career has consisted of working with residential and commercial companies as well as providing contract services for smaller firms.

Lee is married to William Lee and resides in Fortbend, County. She is currently the owner of a full- service Interior Design company and boutique furniture showroom, Evolution By Design Inc. which is located in Stafford, Texas. As principal designer of the company with over 19 years of experience in the design industry, her career has consisted of working for residential and commercial companies. Her company provides full service interior design to a diverse yet affluent clientele in Houston and other cities. Her clients have included: restaurants, homeowners, CEO’s of corporations, public and private schools, custom homebuilders and some of the top professional athletes in the league.

   Lee and has also been a speaker for organizations, local schools and participated as a speaker for the NFL’s “Life Beyond Football”. She has appeared on HGTV, The Live Well Network and other local networks. Her company has been featured in Black Enterprise, Upscale Magazine, Texas Homes, The Houston Business Journal, d-mars Magazine and the Houston Chronicle. 

She is a member of American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA), Houston Chamber, Houston Community College advisory board for their Interior Design Department and a board member for Kid’s Aspiring To Dream. She is also a dedicated member of The Fortbend County Chapter of the Links Incorporated. Lee has devoted her time to volunteering on several committees and has chaired diverse committees for local organizations. Not only has she given of her time by volunteering, but she has provided sponsorships, donated money, helped with obtaining silent auction gifts and assisted with raising funds by getting sponsors for several of the organizations as a committee member. As a result, she has supported the following organizations: Art League Houston, Art Collective Houston, The Ensemble Theatre, United Negro College Fund (UNCF), National Kidney Foundation, The Fortbend Links Incorporated, The Sake of Art (Texas Southern University Museum), Kid’s Aspiring to Dream, Women of Virtue Christian Pageant and Alzheimer’s Association Walk (Sugar Land)

Early on it was instilled in Lee by her parents to always give back and to get involved.  She learned the beauty of giving back and making a difference by following her parent’s example and being a member of several civic organizations and being active in church while growing up. Her motto has always been, “When God blesses you in any capacity of your life it is your obligation to give back”. This is a philosophy that she carries with her professional and personal life.
