Danielle A. Davis is the Southwest Head of Diverse Businesses with J.P. Morgan Chase’s Middle Market & Specialized Industries group in the commercial bank. She is primarily focused on strategy execution, business development and growth of midsize diverse, women and veteran-owned businesses supporting the eleven states of the southwest segment. Danielle’s passion is helping diverse businesses connect with her firm’s ecosystem of resources, as well as foster relationships through her vast network. She believes this is where the magic happens.

Danielle A. Davis has 25 years of experience in the financial sector. She started as an intern at JPMorgan Chase with INROADS and has never looked back. Her parents instilled in her at an early age that “hard work pays off” and “anything worth doing is worth doing well.” She attributes her success to embodying those mottos daily.

Prior to her joining the commercial bank in the business development group five years ago, Danielle A. Davis held various leadership roles in sales coaching and management for Consumer & Community Banking. Danielle has been in the top 1% of producers at the firm and has been a National Achiever multiple times throughout her career. Over the years, she has been involved with JPMC’s business resource groups, such as Houston’s Women on the Move chapter as a Marketing Chair and the Black Organization for Leadership Development’s Global Board as the Marketing and Advertising Chair. Currently, she is the co-chair of the community service committee, supporting volunteerism for over 6,000 employees through the Houston Location Leadership Program and a member of the Global Women on the Move Operating Committee for the Fast Forward Career Development Program. She believes in giving back her time, talent, and knowledge to junior employees at the firm. Danielle truly feels “you cannot be what you don’t see,” so being authentic, open, and honest helps employees be their best selves at work.

Danielle A. Davis earned her Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing and Advertising and Master of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University. She is actively involved in the community through Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Omicron Tau Omega chapter, where she is a board member of the Ethel Hedgeman Lyle Foundation of Texas. Danielle also serves as a board member with The Edison Arts Foundation, Inc. She is the Vice President of Young Alumni with the Inroads Alumni Association, Houston Chapter and was named 2020 Alumni of the Year. Recently, she was honored as a 2023 Outstanding Diversity Champion by the Houston Business Journal’s Diversity in Business Awards.

During her leisure time, Danielle enjoys shopping and attending live concerts. She is a foodie who loves to travel the world and explore diverse cultures and customs. She has visited 17 countries to date and is looking forward to her next adventure.
