She is an American Leadership Forum Fellow, a member of the Legislative Ladies Club, Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., Missouri City Links, Inc., NAACP, the Young Learners School National Advisory Board, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
