Liza Lawrence

Liza Lawrence is an accomplished leader and proactive healthcare professional with over 15 years of experience as an executive healthcare administrator. A skilled leader, Liza manages over 200 physicians, nurse practitioners, and staff in the Houston Methodist Department of Medicine, overseeing 11 multi-specialty clinics to provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality care and positive patient outcomes.

Beyond her impactful healthcare career, Liza is the proud mother of two young boys on the autism spectrum. Perfect Connection has been a steadfast source of support for children on the autism spectrum and their families. The organization provides essential resources, such as school adoptions, financial assistance, STEM camps, sensory-friendly field trips, social activities, advocacy trainings, literacy workshops, and valuable training for parents and educators. To date, Perfect Connection has serviced over 500 families with autism.

Liza’s commitment to autism awareness extends to her role as the co-author of Perfectly Connected, an inclusive children’s book promoting the importance of friendships for kids on the autism spectrum.
