Liza Lawrence is an accomplished leader and proactive healthcare professional with over 15 years of experience as an executive healthcare administrator. A skilled leader, Liza manages over 200 physicians, nurse practitioners, and staff in the Houston Methodist Department of Medicine, overseeing 11 multi-specialty clinics to provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality care and positive patient outcomes.

Beyond her impactful healthcare career, Liza Lawrence is the proud mother of two young boys on the autism spectrum. Her personal journey as a mother has profoundly influenced her dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of children with autism, which led her to begin a movement of change and acceptance. 
In 2019, she established Perfect Connection, an award-winning 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to raising autism awareness through education, advocacy, and outreach. Perfect Connection has been a steadfast source of support for children on the autism spectrum and their families. The organization provides essential resources, such as school adoptions, financial assistance, STEM camps, sensory-friendly field trips, social activities, advocacy trainings, literacy workshops, and valuable training for parents and educators. To date, Perfect Connection has serviced over 500 families with autism.

Liza Lawrence’s commitment to autism awareness extends to her role as the co-author of Perfectly Connected, an inclusive children’s book promoting the importance of friendships for kids on the autism spectrum.

Throughout her career and community involvement, Liza Lawrence has garnered numerous awards and recognitions, including:
