Roslyn Bazzelle Mitchell

Roslyn Bazzelle Mitchell, is an attorney, entrepreneur and fitness guru.  Born in Houston, Texas, she attended Hampton University and Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law.  As senior counsel with Weycer, Kaplan, Pulaski & Zuber, P.C, she handles real estate, corporate and intellectual property matters.  To fuel her creative and artistic side, she recently launched a lifestyle, health and wellness blog at www.roslynbazzelle.com, which features fashion tips, cooking demonstrations, musical selections and PIYOLET videos featuring an innovative technique for fitness enthusiasts through a fusion of pilates , yoga and ballet.  Mitchell is a frequent speaker on legal, business, health and wellness topics for organizations, such as the American Bar Association, University of Houston communications law program, Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law CLE and student programs, The Downtown Group, Texas Business Alliance One Woman Conference, Women Business Owners National Business Convention, Houston Bar Association and the National MBA Association Houston Division.  Her passion for others has expanded over the years through her volunteer work and dedication to supporting non-profits.  She currently serves as the executive director of The Downtown Group, a board member of the Hermann Park Conservancy, a board member of The Health Museum and an advisory board member and past-President of Dance Houston. She also regularly volunteers for Dress For Success Houston, Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program and Texas Lawyers & Accountants for the Arts.  Mitchell has been recognized for her talent and expertise by several local and national publications including, Super Lawyers Magazine, the Houston Chronicle, American Fitness Magazine and Ebony Magazine. She believes that blessings are to be shared and given as gifts to those with the greatest needs.  As the bible states in Philippians 2:3-4 “Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others”.
