Soudabeh Eskandari is an accomplished healthcare construction executive with more than 24 years of experience leading complex capital projects that improve healthcare delivery and strengthen communities. As Director of Facilities Construction, she leads two of Harris Health’s most transformative initiatives—the LBJ Campus Expansion and Legacy Renovation—part of a $2.2 billion capital program that will shape the future of healthcare in the Houston region.
Two years ago, Eskandari made the courageous decision to relocate from South Florida to Texas to lead one of the state’s largest and most impactful healthcare construction programs. Leaving behind an established career, family, and professional network, she and her family embraced the opportunity to help transform healthcare infrastructure while advancing her vision of creating environments that improve patient care and community wellbeing.
Throughout her career, Eskandari has successfully delivered major healthcare projects for leading institutions, including Harris Health, the University of Miami Health System, Memorial Healthcare System, and Jackson Health System. Her unique background as an architect, owner’s representative, and executive leader allows her to bridge design, construction, and operations, ensuring projects are delivered with strategic vision, technical excellence, and operational readiness.
Holding both a Master of Architecture and an Executive MBA, Eskandari is recognized not only for managing billion-dollar projects but also for inspiring collaboration, mentoring future leaders, and driving innovation in healthcare design and construction. She has been invited to speak at major industry conferences, sharing her expertise on creating resilient, future ready healthcare facilities, and her work has been featured in regional and national media.
