Erika Fisher, DNP, is a nationally recognized healthcare executive recognized for operational excellence, transformational leadership, and a steadfast commitment to advancing women’s and children’s health. With more than two decades of experience across academic medicine, community health, and military service, she has built a distinguished career leading complex healthcare operations, driving organizational performance, and translating strategic vision into measurable outcomes. Her expertise spans multi-site operations, ambulatory care, workforce engagement, regulatory readiness, quality improvement, and large-scale change management.

As Senior Director of Ambulatory Services at Texas Children’s Hospital, Fisher provides executive and operational leadership for Maternal Fetal Medicine, the Fetal Center, and a broad portfolio of specialty ambulatory services. She oversees highly complex clinical operations that support multidisciplinary teams delivering advanced care for patients with complex maternal and fetal conditions. Her leadership focuses on optimizing operational performance, improving access to care, enhancing patient experience, and ensuring seamless coordination across clinical, administrative, and academic partners. Working closely with Baylor College of Medicine and physician leaders, she advances initiatives that strengthen quality, patient safety, clinical innovation, regulatory compliance, and long-term program sustainability.

Throughout her career, Fisher has been recognized for her ability to lead large, complex operations through periods of growth and transformation. She brings a system-thinking approach to healthcare leadership, aligning people, processes, and resources to improve efficiency, strengthen team performance, and achieve organizational goals. Her ability to navigate highly regulated environments, build strong cross-functional partnerships, and execute enterprise priorities has made her a trusted leader among clinicians, executives, and governing bodies alike.

Prior to joining Texas Children’s, Fisher served as Vice President of Operations at Avenue 360 Health & Wellness, where she led enterprise-wide operational strategy across multiple clinical sites. Her responsibilities included operational oversight, practice optimization, digital health expansion, regulatory readiness, workforce development, and organizational growth initiatives. Earlier leadership positions at Legacy Community Health and Presbyterian Hospital further expanded her expertise in healthcare operations, performance improvement, ambulatory practice management, and patient centered service delivery.

Fisher’s leadership foundation was established during her service in the United States Air Force, where she supported mission-critical operations and logistics initiatives across domestic and international environments. The discipline, accountability, and operational rigor developed during her military service continue to inform her approach to leadership and organizational effectiveness.
