Victoria A. Guster- Hines

Victoria will tell you that her most accomplished recognition is being the proud mother to Douglas William Hines, and aunt to Eugena, Crystal, and Victoria.  She contributes much of her success to her rock solid family foundation and the overwhelming love and support given by her sister, Debra M. Guster and cousin, Mary “Bobby” McDonald.

Victoria is a poised and articulate executive who thrives on leading, learning, and making a difference.  She sets a foundation with true interest in mutual success for all and leads with a purpose.  She exemplifies value and leadership behaviors by promoting an environment of high integrity, both personally and professionally.  Her collaborative leadership style enables her to maximize team performance and business results.  She is an accomplished, highly motivated, results driven professional, with a proven track record in operations, people, and management expertise.

She began her career with McDonald’s as a Manager Trainee after graduating from college in the Michigan and achieving her MBA in Indiana.  Victoria advanced her way through the system in various positions totaling twenty promotions and seven relocations to become an officer of the McDonald’s Corporation.  She has been widely recognized within McDonald’s, honored as an Arthur Hill High School Alumnus in 2006, as well as featured in the EBONY Magazine article McDonald’s African American Women on the Top.

Victoria serves as McDonald’s Vice President of Operations and Franchising for the Houston Region, overseeing 800+ restaurants.  She has a deep, enriched understanding of the business which provides resources as McDonald’s continues to grow the business and serve the community.  She drives results through valuing her Owner/Operator Partners and Regional Staff.  Victoria continues to lead the system in executing at a high level for “every day customer good” service and hospitality.  She is also committed to optimizing and promoting business performance while being successful in developing a plethora of others and providing personal development and strategic leadership.  As an ambassador for the McDonald’s brand, Victoria always does “the right things, in the right way, for the right reasons.”

She prides herself in living by the Four Agreements:

  • Be impeccable with your word.
  • Don’t make assumptions.
  • Don’t take anything personally.
  • Always, always, always do your best.

As a mother, daughter, aunt, and sister, she is a provider, role model, care giver, friend, and leader.  As a server, employee, and employer, she is a strategic thinker, results driver, fast learner, and talent builder.  As an academic achiever, she is an excellent communicator, LAMP achiever, and MBA holder.  As a spiritual believer, she is a server, participator, definer, and believer in all things for the greater good.  One of her favorite Bible verses is from Romans 8:28 which reads, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
