Amber Casanave

Amber Casanave is the owner of CAS + COMPANY – an awardwinning marketing agency that creates strategies that build awareness, increase revenue, and move brands forward. Amber is a marketing communications strategist with over 20 years of diverse experience managing brands, reputations and nation-wide events for Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, and non-profits.

From strategic planning to creative development and production of communication vehicles from print to digital, Amber is an expert in integrated brand marketing. Amber’s experience in corporate, agency and non-profits sectors has made her an astute operational professional who leads complex, multifunctional teams in the development and implementation of strategic solutions to accomplish objectives and rapidly impact bottom-line performance.

Amber has made it her mission as an entrepreneur to help brands unlock the human and cultural story behind every data point, challenge assumptions, inspire creatives and develop 360-degree >marketing strategies that cohesively unite public relations, digital communications, and live events. She has worked with BET, Shea Moisture, the Ad Council, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Houston Super Bowl Host Committee/ NFL, Dell Technologies, Crayola, and the National Urban League to name a few.

Amber’s professional career includes time serving as Vice President of Consumer Marketing at Edelman, a global communications agency, where she developed creative marketing strategies for Fortune 100 companies including Shell and Chevron. Prior to that, she served five years as Vice President of Marketing & Communications at the National Urban League, a nationwide non-profit organization in New York, where she strategically directed their integrated communications and marketing initiatives including media relations, social media, branding, advertising and events designed to empower people with quality resources. In this role, she worked with strategic partners from agencies, non-profits and the corporate sector including Wal-Mart, AT&T, Comcast NBC Universal, The Coca Cola Company, UPS, Toyota, State Farm, Bank of America, NAACP, NAN, Unidos US, and LULAC among many others.

Prior to joining the National Urban League, Amber held marketing communications positions at Universal Records, A&M Records, and media relations firms in New York where she managed the public profiles of music artists, celebrities, corporate executives, and brands.

Amber holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting, telecommunications and mass media from Temple University; and certificates in Strategic Marketing from Cornell University, and in Executive Leadership from The Center for Creative Leadership.

CAS + COMPANY is certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). Amber is married to Donovan Casanave and they are proud parents of their son, Aden.
