Dr. Ka-Ron Y. Wade, BS, R.N., B.S.N., D.D.S.

Dr. Ka-Ron Y. Wade is a premier cosmetic dentist with an office in Midtown Houston. She completed her undergraduate studies at Wiley College and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then attended Texas Woman’s University and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

She obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The University of Texas and completed her cosmetic training at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Dr. Wade is a veteran of the United States Army, where she served as a dental officer and retired with rank of captain. She is a premier preferred Invisalign provider.

Dr. Wade is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, an organization which fosters their continued proficiency through continuing quality education. She is also a member of the American Orthodontic Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Association of Women Dentists and an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

Dr. Wade was the first African American female to be featured on the cover of Doctor of Dentistry magazine.She was the recipient of:

  • 2009 Pinnacle Award
  • Houston Top Dentist in 2009, 2012 and 2013
  • Named by the Steed Society’s 2012 Top 25 Women of Houston
  • Top 50 Black Healthcare Professionals 2012 and 2013

Through the Positive Black Male Association, Dr. Wade has sponsored a child to travel to Washington D.C. since 2006. Dr. Wade is the founder of Houston Medi-Dent, a nonprofit organization which provided more than $40,000 in dental services in 2012.

Dr. Wade was the recipient of the Houston Citizen’s Chamber of Commerce 2009 Pinnacle Award and was named Houston Top Dentist in 2009 and 2012. She is also listed in the Who’s Who in Black Houston 2012. Dr. Wade is the first African American female to be featured on the cover of Doctor of Dentistry Magazine for Dentists. She was also the recipient of the Steed Society’s 2012 Top 25 Women of Houston and one of the Top 50 Black Healthcare Professionals in Houston. She is a member of the African American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston and also a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Wade’s dental treatment has been sought out all over the world, including the countries of Russia, Germany, The Philippines, Africa, Croatia, and India. Her motto is “changing the world one smile at a time.”
