Niki Conner, CRCM

Niki Conner is a respected compliance leader whose career reflects the power of purpose driven leadership, regulatory expertise, and a deep commitment to fair and responsible banking. As Director of Fair & Responsible Banking at Charles Schwab Bank, she helps lead work that supports fair treatment, client trust, and strong governance across key banking programs. Her role places her at the center of important initiatives involving fair lending, fair servicing, complaint management, and regulatory governance – areas that require both technical depth and sound judgment.

With more than 20 years of regulatory compliance management experience in the financial services industry, Conner brings a steady, knowledgeable, and solutions-focused approach to her work. She has held various leadership roles with several large and midsize financial institutions, building a career grounded in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Across these roles, she has developed a reputation for navigating complex regulatory environments with focus and professionalism, helping teams identify risk, strengthen controls, and respond thoughtfully to change. Conner’s colleagues recognize her for combining an “alphabet soup” of regulatory knowledge with a calm leadership style, persistence, and a genuine focus on doing what is fair and responsible for clients. She earned her MBA from Dallas Baptist University and holds the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation from the American Bankers Association – credentials that reflect both her professional discipline and her commitment to lifelong learning.

Beyond her technical expertise, Conner is known as a leader who creates space for others to learn, contribute, and succeed. She leads with resilience, excellence, influence, and a spirit of service. She demonstrates that strong leadership is not only measured by what is accomplished, but by how people are supported along the way. By combining subject matter expertise with humility and approachability, Conner helps create an environment where people feel empowered to raise concerns, share ideas, and pursue better outcomes with clarity, confidence, shared accountability, and a strong sense of purpose.

In her free time, Conner enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, supporting her favorite NCAA college basketball teams, and traveling across the globe. These interests reflect the same curiosity, energy, and appreciation for connection that she brings to her professional life. Whether she is exploring a new destination, cheering on a team, or investing time in the people who matter most, Conner brings a sense of enthusiasm and intentionality to the moments that ground and inspire her.
